Here is a government auctions tip: Before attending any auction it is always a good idea to call the contact number provided the day before the auction begins. Make sure that the date, time, and venue have not changed. While these last minute changes do not take place very often, they have occurred in the past. Also, if you are attending an auction to bid on one specific item call to verify that this item has not been pulled from the auction. The owner up until the close of business on the day prior to the auction may claim homes and vehicles that have been foreclosed upon. Good luck and happy bidding.
