Government aucitons are a lot of fun and provide unique opportunities for bargains, but the drawback is that you have to wait to see what comes available. If you are looking to acquire a certain piece for your collection, you may end up waiting forever. On the other hand, you are likely to find what you are looking for at either Heritage or eBay.
