Making Profits Tutorial
Making Profits IV
Develop a niche and you will get rich. Ok, that’s a favorite saying of ours, not necessarily a literal claim. Developing a niche on eBay won’t necessarily make you a millionaire overnight. On the other hand, we’ve seen time after time success comes to those who have mined a niche, typically one that is directly related to a personal hobby or interest like the comic book example in the previous section or these examples:

One of the downsides to eBay is that there are so many auctions taking place, listings can often be overlooked. One of the little known features of PoliceAuctions.com is the ability to promote your eBay auctions directly on PoliceAuctions.com. Just click on the Add Your Auction link, fill in the form, and your listing will go up for review, typically listed within 24 hours, sometimes longer on the weekends. So this won’t work if you do a listing that is under 3 days, but most listings on eBay are 3 days or longer.
Once your listing is approved, it will appear on the PoliceAuctions.com website, where many of our members regularly look for bargains and items to bid on. The added exposure is not as good as having your own television commercial and we don’t want to set a false expectation about the traffic you will receive, but something is better than nothing. And since we don’t charge any additional fees for these listings, you can list as many auctions as you like as long as they adhere to our terms of use. This feature alone is worth more than the annual subscription fee to PoliceAuctions.com. Of course the best way to find that out is to try it. Again we’ll mention there is no additional fee to try this feature so if you are already selling on eBay, why not give it a whirl and see if your auction doesn’t get more bids.
